Dejan Zavec was also selected sportsman of the year, and Tina Maze was chosen sportswoman of the year, whereas the title of best sports team of 2010 was awarded to the national football team of the Republic of Slovenia. At the same time, another traditional event was organised at the Serbian National Assembly in Belgrade by the Serbian Olympic Committee, which decorated the Serbian male national volleyball team with a special award for their outstanding achievements in 2010, namely the bronze medal the team won at the world championship in Italy. The award also went to the head coach of the Serbian national volleyball team and this year`s head coach of ACH Volley, Igor Kolaković. We should also note that Igor Kolaković was also nominated as the best coach in Serbia, which reflects the growing interest in volleyball, contributing undoubtedly to the quality of volleyball teams, including our own ACH Volley. What better way to prove it than with an exquisite series of victories which the team has recorded this year.
