There is much symbolism and expression in the club`s new logo, which actually visualises its strategy in various areas: in competition, as linked to the first team, in organisation, as linked to the team’s professional management, and in development, as linked to work with the younger groups both in Ljubljana and in Bled. ACH Volley namely plans to continue intensive work in all of those areas, as was discussed at the press conference by Rasto Oderlap, President of ACH Volley Management Board, Andrej Flajs, ACH Volley team captain, Matjaž Silič, ACH Junior Programme Manager in Bled and Gregor Kumer, President of ŠD Fitt Črnuče, which has up until now cooperated with Olimpija Volleyball Team, but in the future will work with ACH Volley.
Moreover, part of the discussion with journalists was dedicated to a more in-depth evaluation of the upcoming season, in which once again the team ranks in the highest spot in the European Champions League. The season will begin almost a month sooner than last year`s due to representational obligations connected with the conclusion of the European Championship, and the team`s preparations will thus be quite delayed. ACH Volley is already awaiting two fairly tough international tournaments at the end of September. The first will be in Dob, Austria and the second in Novi Sad, Serbia. Among others, the team will be competing against Champions League participants including Macerata and Innsbruck. Following that, the team will be at the forefront of the National Championship, and according to the most recent information, will also participate in the Central European League. MEVZE Management has decided to organise changes to the method of competition in the tournament system and has invited ACH Volley to again participate. The final decision will be known in the coming months. As was stated, the Champions League remains the priority. Both Oderlap and Flajs emphasised the quality of all opponents, although Budvanska Rivijera is at this time still not known about, since the teams are only beginning to form because they are awaiting the Vienna drawing of lots. They mentioned in somewhat more detail the composition of other teams, the fact that Belchatow is the main favourite in the Poland group, and that the main goal of ACH Volley is to progress from round to round and again make it to the final tournament.
Now, let`s close out as we began, with the updated overall image of the club, which will, under the orange dragon`s flapping wings, further the recognisability of the orange and dark blue and focus itself sharply upwards.
