Ljubljana, October 5, 2011 – In the legendary sports hall Tivoli in Ljubljana, where ACH Volley's team achieved its greatest successes in the European Champions League, the team presented its players and
the goals in the prestigious European club competition, the European Volleyball Champions League. These goals have not diminish from previous seasons as the team will one again strive to qualify for the Final Four Tournament and reach even one step higher. Those were the topics discussed by the team members at a special public presentation, which attracted numerous team sponsors, reporters, business partners and fans. The presentation was also attended by a special guest, the mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković, who wished the management many excellent results and volleyball fans filling the sports hall of Tivoli (ACH Volley Ljubljana's new home) as well as Stožice that accepted approximately 10 thousand volleyball fans in the previous season. The Volleyball Champions League and qualifying for the Final Four are the club's priorities, off course working on it step by step - was heard from the club's president Rasto Oderlap, head coach Igor Kolaković and the team captain Andrej Flajs. The team that has been rejuvenated with four new members – all young talented Slovenian volleyball players, was recently faced with a severe injury of one of Europe's best blockers, Matevž Kamnik, at the international tournament in Bleiburg, Austria. That fact also convinced the management to invite Canadian Adam Simac to join the team's ranks for the second year.
ACH Volley's move to Ljubljana is a giant step forward for the promotion of the Slovenian as well as European volleyball since the Slovenian capital is, business wise, more interesting for numerous sponsors attending this year's presentation. ACH Volley is facing an extremely laborious season since it plays not only in the Volleyball Champions League but also in the Slovenian national and Cup championship and also in the MEVZA Playoffs. The Olympic qualifications will also cause some additional problems as several ACH Volley members will be temporarily leaving the team in November. Head coach Igor Kolaković, who is also coaching the Serbian national team and is therefore
also the current European champion, will join his national team's players along with two other players from Serbia, and some Slovenian and both Canadian players will also play in the qualifications, leaving the management to deal
not only with many matches but also with problems in composing the team.
