Ljubljana, Slovenia, February 8, 2012. At the first match of CEV Cup Challenge Pahse in Belgium, ACH Volley defeated Knack Roeselare 3:2. A 3:0 win in Ljubljana secured the Slovenian team a place in the Final Phase.

In the first set the Belgian players had some problems with serve reception and ACH Volley took advantage of the
situation, forcing the guests to take the first time-out at 7:2. Ljubljana-based players added great blocking (Milan Rašić, Alen Šket, Matej Vidič) to their performance and at 14:5 the Belgian coach replaced setter D'Hulst with Ammerman. Strong serves by Tuerlinckx reduced the score difference to seven points (18:11) and Knock Roeselare suddently showed a more dangerous side. The guests improved their defence, taking advantake of ACH Volley's
errors and at 22:18 Igor Kolaković took the second time-out, which refocused the players in orange and a block by Milan Rašić won the first set.
At the beginning of the second set the team from Belgium made several mistakes, allowing ACH Volley to win a
several-points advantage (8:5). Afterwards the guests' performance improved and Sam Deroo tied the result at the 9th point. Unfortunately for the few Belgian supporters ACH Volley returned into the game and kept a steady
3-point lead until the end of the set.
ACH Volley's players continued with their winning streak in the third set, quickly claiming a 4-point lead (6:2),
which vanished due to strong and acurate serves by guest captain Tuerlinckx. Both teams executed block with precision but at the second technical time-out ACH Volley was once again four points ahead. Knack Roeselare managed to catch up but at 23:22 Čebulj showed his qualities and with two wins ACH Volley moved into the Final Round of the CEV Cup.
The best scorer was Alen Šket (ACH Volley) with 19 points and for Knack Roeselare Paulides and Deroo both scored 13 points.
